The General Evaluation Model for Radio-Frequency Blocking Effects of Frequency Equipment in Complex Electromagnetic Environment

To solve the problem of inaccurate blocking effects’ evaluation caused by inconsistent models in the complex electromagnetic environment, the general evaluation model of multifrequency electromagnetic radiation and that of noise electromagnetic radiation were constructed based on time-delay characteristic analysis of circuit response. After analyzing the cross-linking relationship of the amplitude-sensitive, the insensitive, and the root mean square (rms) sensitive models, a comprehensive evaluation model involving the three models is proposed. In addition, the experiment was carried out on a navigation receiver to verify the model performance. The evaluation error is less than 1 dB when the equipment is sensitive to multifrequency electromagnetic radiation interference, while the error is less than 2.2 dB when the equipment is insensitive. The evaluation error is less than 1.5 dB under noise electromagnetic radiation interference. The experiment results have verified the adaptability of the proposed models in a complex electromagnetic environment, which is beneficial for improving the evaluation accuracy and simplifying the engineering application.
