Olympiad Programming Movement Features in Higher Education

Olympiad programming also called algorithmic programming or sports programming involves writing computer code in an arbitrary programming language (C++, Python, Java, C# and so on) that is the solution to a given problem. The solution must be efficient (i.e. fast) in time and efficient (i.e. small) in memory consumption during execution. Many schoolchildren participating in school Olympiads in Informatics continue to improve their skills and participate in student competitions. This article is devoted to features and practices of such Olympiads.
