Digitalization in the Field of Polylingual Education

Globalization, interlingual communication, the development of economic and intercultural relations between countries leads to an increase of the importance of foreign languages knowledge. In modern society knowledge of foreign languages is a kind of indicator of a person’s education, which can greatly affect the rapid and successful advancement of a person in various fields of activity. The development of interstate and intercultural relations expands the areas of interaction between representatives of different countries and cultures. That is why the problem of polylinguism is becoming increasingly important. One of the goals facing the education system is the development of a polycultural personality who speaks several languages and is able to carry out communicative and activity operations in three or more languages in different situations. Polylingual education today is one of the main directions in the education system. Polylingual training of students is integrated with the process of digitalization of education. These trends require the introduction of innovative digital resources and digital tools into the educational process, which would ensure the assimilation of language knowledge by students and contribute to the development of basic communicative competencies.
