A Review on Energy Conversion Efficiencies of Various Perovskite Solar Cells

Due to the recent advancements in solar cell efficiency, in addition to the hybrid PV modules which are vastly used in industries, nowadays organic/inorganic halide solar cellsare alsogaining recognition amidst researchers in the industry and domestic purpose. The perovskite materials exhibit a variety of advantages, including a higher capacity for light absorption, wider tuneable bandgaps, and longer carrier diffusion lengths. Perovskite solar cells place the same attention and attraction as its previously popular PV cells due to their better efficiency and more affordable fabrication techniques. The PSC's efficiency has increased dramatically, rising from 2.2% to over 27%. A thorough grasp of each solar cell component's role and its performance and efficiency is important.This paper discusses the electronic and crystal structures of perovskites using data from recent studies.
