Surge protection with SPDs and SITs

SITs (Surge Isolation Transformers) are products that have enhanced withstand voltage performance against surges by enhancing the withstand voltage performance of isolation transformers. In addition, SITs can greatly attenuate common mode surges. Because of this performance, it can build a safer LPZ (Lightning Protection Zone) by using it in combination with SPDs (Surge Protective Devices). This document provides the performance of SIT and its performance when combined with SPD.
