Lightning Resistance Test and Lightning Protection Safety Design of Glass Curtain Wall

This paper analyzes the common lightning protection designs of glass curtain wall, and investigates the lightning protection method of non-exposed frame glass curtain wall. Furthermore, we propose the safety equivalence principle of risk and safe and economic lightning protection designs applying to glass curtain wall with various structure types base on the latest lightning tolerance test standard of glass curtain wall as well as the principle of lightning protection.
