Analysis of Small Solar Photovoltaic Modules in the UAE Market

The solar energy sector in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has a promising future for many reasons. Renewable energy (RE) is part of the UAE government vision under the “Energy Strategy 2050” strategy. This will lead to a substantial growth in both solar thermal and solar photovoltaic (PV) industries. This study focuses on collecting and analyzing data on different solar PV panels available in the UAE market when it comes to small-scale PV modules. The data collection and analysis is confined to 50W panels available in the market with features compared to identify technical characteristics in UAE environmental conditions.
