The Introduction of Improved Estimation Methodology via Fuzzy Sigma-Delta for Gamma-Ray Belt Conveyor

The notion of knowledge delta-sigma has gained wide-spreading interest in many fields owing to its supplementary properties. It can make the system robust to uncertainty and go down the fluctuation in the estimate. This article presents a novel proceed toward estimation problems via using fuzzy delta-sigma, investigates and researches its practical implementation on gamma-ray belt conveyors. The weigh scale is one of the most basic instruments for calculating the production rate of companies and the conventional method has some fundamental problems and maintenance. A non-contact scale measurement system based on the gamma radiation technique is proposed and implemented to calculate the weight of materials passing through the conveyor. The main goal of this article is to have a precise estimation method and implemented it's on the gamma weighting scale system. To overcome this issue, a state-of-the-art fuzzy sigma-delta modulation is designed and its potency is shown in a numerical simulation study. Then, the practical implementation of the radioactive belt scale based on this methodology is tested. Finally, this novel method in practical application is evaluated by comparing it with other belt scale systems on the weight system.
