Predicting of Radar Failure Based on the Operator Functional State

The paper describes a novel approach for predicting of radar failure based on the functional state of the operator - a set of human qualities that characterize his ability to perform the tasks assigned to him. It is shown that the continuous monitoring of the radar functional state makes it possible to record the timing of operator actions to restore the radar after failures. There are presented the results of radar failure predicting with the use of linear regression, taking into account the replacement time of radar elements. Such approach leads to higher accuracy of malfunctions prediction of individual radar elements. It is expedient to predict changes in the functional state of both the personnel and the radar using the linear regression method.
