Analysis and Development of Game-Theoretic Models for Combating Threats to Information Security in Critical Information Infrastructure

The work reviews key aspects of critical information infrastructure (CII) information security, including network security threats, cyberattacks, system vulnerabilities, and other factors that can damage the infrastructure. The paper applies game theory and modeling techniques to describe the strategic interaction between attackers and defenders in the CII context. Various game-theoretic models are considered to help assess and compare the effectiveness of strategies to counter information security threats. The models analyze the impact of various factors, such as cost of attack and protection, probability of detection and incident response, on the results of game-based interactions.
