Building a Mobile Communication System Based on Small-Sized Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Using WiMAX Technology

Article represents a possibility of building a mobile communication system based on small-sized unmanned aerial vehicle using WiMAX technology. The advantages of this approach, in addition to the rapid deployment of the network and high fault tolerance, are the possibility of optimal coverage of the service area due to the possibility of moving the UAV relative to subscribers, taking off the UAV to a greater height to increase the service area, as well as economic efficiency due to lower cost compared to the cost of deployment ground infrastructure. Method of multicriteria optimization based on the research for Pareto-optimal solution which was modelled by authors improve characteristics of whole system.
