Non-standalone (NSA) 5G system measurements

with the deployment of 5G networks, network operators face new challenges in terms of network coverage, capacity, and quality of service. As a result, it is essential to measure and monitor the performance of the network to identify issues and optimize performance. For NSA 5G networks, system measurements are particularly important since these networks are built on top of existing 4G infrastructure and may not provide the full benefits of 5G technology.In this paper, we demonstrate the importance of system measurements for newly deployed 5G networks, particularly NSA 5G, in a town that comprises a mix of real operational environments. We employ a hand-held device that measures system parameters for the different networks and we report key parameters that measure coverage and capacity performance.
