Smart Classroom: Real Time Monitoring of Classroom through IoT

Electricity usage can be decreased by using energy-efficient practices, such as Switching off all the lights and electrical devices when they are not used. Using energy-efficient techniques, like switching off lights and electrical equipment when they are not used, can reduce the amount of electricity used. In order to reduce power consumption in the classroom, this study showed how to create a smart classroom with an integrated IoT system. A sensor system will be used in a “smart classroom” to automatically track and tally the number of pupils entering and leaving the area. The major goal of this system is to use an IoT application and sensor system to manage the lighting and classroom entering and exit of students. When the sensor is activated, it will transmit data to the Blynk application software to display the classroom's state. Based on the presence of people, this proposed activity may also determine whether a classroom is available for use or not. The Blynk application software will display that the lights and fan are ON in the classroom if it is in use. If no one is in the classroom, the fans and lights are otherwise OFF. The outcome makes it quite evident that when a student walks into a classroom for the first time, all of the lights and fans are turned on. When the students leave the classroom, all the lights and fans will get turned off. This result implies that power will be conserved by turning off all of the classroom's equipment at the proper moment.
