The Research of UAV Cluster Flight Positioning Model Based on Polar Coordinate System

Clusters of drones need to transmit electromagnetic signals for positioning in order to maintain their formation in flight, and ultimately to adjust their position. This paper establishes a polar coordinate system to represent the position of the UAV receiving the signal, uses the sine and cosine theorem and the trilateral positioning method to establish a trigonometric function model for UAV positioning, and based on the position relationship of two of the UAVs, the analytical solution of the relationship of the coordinate function of the unpositioned UAV is obtained through Matlab programming to enable the UAV to adjust the formation of the UAV by adjusting the angle. The analysis of this process facilitates a more orderly and fast adjustment of the position of the UAV to the formation and achieves the stability of the UAV cluster.
