Use of Simulation and Demonstration to Foster Student Learning in Electrical Engineering Labs and Projects

Simulation and demonstration are in class active learning techniques. This work highlights the depth of learning using simulation and demonstration in electrical engineering course. The current findings indicate that majority of students think simulation and demonstration is more effective in their course of study and more helpful to understand the subject. This work also shows that simulation and demonstration with lab experiment is more effective than either isolated simulation or lab experiment.
