Research on Terminal Security Protection of zero-trust Smart Grid Based on Fog Computing

This paper proposes a fog computing assisted zero-trust smart grid terminal security protection mechanism. Specifically, the fog computing nodes are deployed around the terminal devices to relieve the computing pressure of cloud nodes. A trust evaluation mechanism considering historical behavior and device access delay is designed to quantify the terminal access request behavior into trust value. Elliptic curve cryptography algorithm (ECC) is used to encrypt the data sent by the terminal and fog node, and the discrete logarithm dilemma of the algorithm is used to achieve identity authentication between “terminal, fog and cloud”. Paillier is used to encrypt and aggregate a large amount of data collected by power terminals. The simulation results show that the distributed deployment mode based on fog computing can effectively reduce the system load, and the behavior of abnormal terminals will significantly reduce the trust value.
