Application of Intelligent Control Technology in Steam Flooding

Liao he Oilfield has been developed for many years, especially with the continuous expansion of the development scale of heavy oil blocks. With the extension of development time, the management difficulty of heavy oil wells is also increasing. With the continuous advancement of digital oil fields, many software and advanced management methods have emerged in recent years aimed at improving the level of oil production management and improving the efficiency of heavy oil well systems. However, due to the cyclical variability of thermal recovery development in heavy oil fields, software developed based on traditional thin oil development theory is not suitable. Therefore, oil production management and mechanical recovery parameter adjustment always remain at the level of manual calculation and regulation. In order to meet the needs of digital oilfield development and improve the timeliness of regulation, on-site testing of the digital oil production intelligent control system has been carried out. Field testing has been conducted on the steam drive well group in Block Du 229, which can achieve intelligent regulation of oil well mechanical production parameters, improve oil well production efficiency, ensure safe production of oil wells, reduce labor intensity, and have far-reaching significance for comprehensive application in heavy oil thermal recovery wells.
