Blind Deconvolution-Based Localization Method by Matching Multipath Angle of Arrival in The Deep-Sea Direct Acoustic Regions

In this paper, a blind deconvolution-based localization method by matching multipath angle of arrival in the deep-sea direct acoustic regions is proposed. A blind deconvolution method based on the Richardson-Lucy algorithm in the frequency domain is used to directly estimate the multiway arrival angle of the deep-sea acoustic source target, and the target localization is realized by matching the multiway arrival angle feature template of the acoustic field. This method overcomes the inapplicability of the conventional method in the long range of the direct acoustic region and the lower signal-to-noise ratio, and has higher localization accuracy and stability. Simulation and sea trial data validation show that the proposed method is significantly superior to conventional methods in terms of localization accuracy and robustness to environmental mismatch.
