Encrypted Instant Messaging Service Using XMPP Protocol

Instant messaging enables real-time contact between users, which is increasingly becoming a part of everyday life since it is quicker and more effective. In general, instant messaging systems and the protocols that enable them , the security measures necessary to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and authenticity of the message is not likely reliable. In this approach, a solution is offered by fusing cryptography and hashing methods with instant messaging for Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol-equipped devices (XMPP). A single user or a group of users may get simultaneous presence notifications from the XMPP server. By developing a framework that allows several users to communicate concurrently, the server makes personal and group chats available. The suggested structure was developed for encrypting the messages end to end and these messages are authenticated using hashing technique.
