Prolonged occupancy of interior space and effect of lighting on the perception of space quality

As part of my thesis project, the Space – Light – User trilogy represents a main vector in the construction of a research methodology that mainly questions an innovative interior space design process and that intrinsically contributes to the establishment of a positive atmosphere in the interior space in the long term.In this sense, we first consider the interior space as an ecosystem consisting of several parameters that characterize both its function and its form. Second, light as one of the parameters with strong impact both of the space and its occupant. And thirdly, as far as the user is concerned, we consider that each user represents an exploratory track, which by its peculiarities guides the development and execution of the design project.In the same context, we question the time factor. A parameter that must be highlighted in each design project for the treatment of spatial quality both perceptively and functionally. Comfort and well-being are therefore two allies that position the user as the core of the design project.
