Analysis of Variation in Mechanical Properties of Glass Fiber with Natural Fiber Reinforced Concrete

Concrete is a composite material that breaks and scales easily due to drying shrinkage and the effects of plastic and solidified states. Fiber overlays and sheets are now the subject of extensive study for their potential in supporting and sustaining supported heavy people all over the world. The use of Fiber-Reinforced Polymers (FRPs) is an attractive strategy for restoring and fortifying structures that have deteriorated fundamentally over time. As compared to more traditional fixing methods and materials, FRP fixing frameworks are a more cost-effective choice. In this paper, we conduct experimental tests to determine the performance of a composite mix made from Sisal Fibre (SF) of varying lengths 6mm and two different lengths of Glass Fiber (6mm and 12mm) subjected to four different rates of expansion by a full load of cement (0%, 0.75 %, 1.25 %, and 1.75 %). The experimental study employs a Woven Roving Mat of Glass Fiber and 380 GSM Bidirectional Sisal Fiber in concrete at volume fractions of 0.6%, 0.8%, and 1.0%, respectively. The load, pliability, and flexural strength fluctuation data from the trials have been collected.
