Since the power equipment itself is generally huge in size, when the impedance analyzer and network analyzer used for the test of small equipment are used for the test of large power equipment, it's necessary to use leads that may be several meters or even tens of meters. Stray parameters such as lead inductance and capacitance will have a certain impact on the test results. Therefore, some method must be used to eliminate the influence of the lead. This paper compares the two methods of calculating lead parameters and calibration to test the broadband characteristics of the two-port network, and analyzes the reasons that affect the test results. It's recommended to choose an impedance analyzer with lead calibration to test the effective broadband characteristics of large power equipment. At the same time, try to use the core of the
