Application of the Steady State Voltage Simulation Model Based on PSCAD in the Reverse Charging Test of Ultra-high voltage Converter Station

As an important part of ultra-high voltage transmission project, the stability and reliability of ultra-high voltage direct current converter station is related to the safe operation of power system. In order to discover potential hidden problems of UHV DC converter station equipment as early as possible, the inverted charging test is carried out before the converter station goes into operation. The steady state voltage is an important factor affecting the successful completion of the reverse charging test. This paper builds a refined simulation and calculation model of power supply, cable, switch, transformer and GIS by PSCAD, proposes an optimal adjustment strategy for steady-state voltage, simulates and calculates the steady-state voltage of inverted charging, and verifies the validity of the simulation model through tests, and forms targeted opinions and suggestions.
