Optimal coordinative scheduling of the electric–thermal integrated energy system considering weather forecasting

Unlike the anti-peak regulation of wind power, the power generation characteristics of solar power could help reduce the restriction of heating load on the electric power output flexibility of combined heat and power (CHP) units. In this work, an optimal coordinative scheduling model of the electric-thermal integrated energy system (IES) considering weather forecasting is constructed. The current IES considers the time delay and heat loss of the district heating system. On this basis, a solar power forecasting method based on ensemble numerical weather forecasting and the model chain is adopted to serve the scheduling. The simulation result shows that the presented coordinative scheduling strategy is able to save, as compared to the reference, 6300 tons of coal equivalent (TCE) during the heating season.
