Simulation Analysis of Mechanical Performance of 500kV Transformer Ascending Flanged Base Under Vibration Excitation

As an important outlet structure of the transformer, the ascending flanged base has the characteristics of large lead current, high electric field and complex distribution. Due to the electromagnetic force on the winding and the magnetostriction of the iron core, the transformer will vibrate during operation. In this paper, modal analysis is used to obtain the natural frequency and vibration mode of the ascending flanged base, and harmonic response analysis is used to obtain its frequency response. Finally, random vibration analysis is used to find that the weakest structure of the raised seat is the bolt connected to the pressure equalizing ball, and the life of the bolt was predicted to be about 35000 h. Through the simulation analysis, the mechanical properties of the ascending flanged base are obtained, which provides a reference for the fault detection and structural optimization.
