Fault-tolerant control for Semi-Markovian jump systems with application to dc motors

This article aims to address the control synthesis problem for networked dc motor systems, which consider probabilistic actuators faulty and network properties. First, the motor delay model is developed, in which the probabilistic actuators faulty and network properties are combined simultaneously. Secondly, according the probability that whether the packet is sent or not within a time bound, the resulting delay model which include two time-varying intervals is derived. Then, several sufficient conditions for the stability and mode-dependent fault-tolerant controller design are derived by using Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF). Finally, the effectiveness of the presented methodology is demonstrated by numerical simulation.
