Study on Dielectric Test Technology of ±800kV Flexible DC Converter Valve

The dielectric test is one of the key type tests to assess the electrical performance of flexible DC converter valves. At present, flexible DC converter valves have reached UHV level. Therefore, it is of great significance to carry out research on insulation test technology of ±800kV flexible DC converter valves. To this end, this paper takes the ±800kV flexible DC converter valve for the Udongde project as the research object. Firstly, by analyzing the basic structure of the flexible DC converter valve, an approximate equivalent circuit model between the valve support and valve terminals of the flexible DC converter valve is constructed. Secondly, the simulation study of the dielectric test of flexible DC converter valves was carried out, and the simulation circuit model of the dielectric test between the valve support and the valve terminals of the flexible DC converter valve was constructed, while the selection method of the power supply equipment for the dielectric test of the flexible DC converter valve was proposed. Finally, the dielectric type test of the flexible DC converter valve was carried out, and the problems that arose during the actual test were analyzed and solutions were proposed.
