Research on Simulation of Substation Construction Based on Lightweight GIM Model

According to the requirements of the State Grid Corporation for the application of 3D digital design in the process of power grid engineering infrastructure, the 3D GIM results based on the digital design stage of power grid engineering substations can be applied to construction progress simulation, construction process simulation, and other construction processes, so as to improve the construction and management of power grid substations. In this paper, through the lightweight processing of the GIM model of substation engineering, the original 3D model is compressed to improve the efficiency of model browsing and operation on the basis of ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the model data. The substation engineering construction is conducted based on the lightweight model. The simulation platform realizes the visualization of the construction process and the construction progress based on the 3D model and provides an efficient and convenient solution for the formulation and modification of the construction plan.
