Research on Generation and Reduction of Typical Operation Scenarios in Virtual Power Plants

With the increasing demand for energy security and the improvement of environmental protection requirements, the output of wind power and photovoltaic power generation has shown the characteristics of large fluctuations and high volatility, and its output uncertainty has become a key issue affecting the safe and stable operation of the power system. This paper summarizes the inherent characteristics of new energy in virtual power plants, such as randomness, volatility and intermittency. At the same time, the statistical change rules of its intra-day, intra-day and seasonal data are analyzed, the output of various types of energy is studied, and the typical scene set of the virtual power plant is generated through a large amount of historical data, and the scene reduction is carried out using the rapid generation and elimination technology of probability distance. Simulation results show that the scenario generation reduction method proposed in this paper can effectively reduce the amount of calculation and workload, and the scenario sampling generation and reduction technology is used to deal with the uncertainty of wind power and photovoltaic power generation output, forming a classic scenario with probability information.
