Research on Accurate Calculation of Substation Engineering Quantity Based on GIM Technology

State Grid Corporation is gradually carrying out 3D design of power transmission and transformation projects, establishing a 3D design technology system for power transmission and transformation projects, and applying 3D GIM results in the digital design stage of substations to cost control management and other processes, which can improve the management capabilities of power grid substations.3D design embodies the characteristics of visualization and collaboration of digital design technology. With the further promotion and application of 3D digital technology, more and more projects will adopt such technology, which will promote the construction of power grids into a new future.According to the research objectives, this paper formulates the overall research technology route, sorts out and transforms the data of the GIM design results, lays a data foundation for the subsequent development work, and carries out the development of the engineering cost control platform. The analysis and summary of the test results verifies the applicability of the development results.
