Optimal Operation Strategy of Virtual Power Plant with Building Inverter Air Conditioner

Air-conditioning load is an important part of demand-side response load in virtual power plants (VPP). Most existing studies consider fixed-frequency air-conditioning when constructing demand-side response load models, while inverter air-conditioning is often installed in modern user homes. As a result, the virtual power plant optimization model established does not match the actual situation. In this regard, this paper proposes an optimized operation strategy for a virtual power plant with inverter air conditioners. Firstly, an aggregation model of inverter air conditioners based on temperature regulation is established. Secondly, an optimal scheduling model of a virtual power plant with inverter air conditioners is established based on the aggregation model. Finally, a virtual power plant example is used to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed model.
