Research on the Application of Private UPF and 5G Slice Technology in Power Load Management System

With the development of the economy, the channel bottleneck phenomenon of 230MHz wireless data transmission network has become increasingly prominent in power load management system. At the same time, the safe operation of power load management system has become another problem received increasing attention. With the large-scale commercial deployment of 5G network, it has become a new possibility to transmit massive data on the electric power demand side using 5G private network. In this paper, we first analyzed the requirements of terminal data acquisition and control in demand side power load management system. Then we proposed a specific scheme which is using private UPF (User Plane Function) and 5G slice technology in power load management system. Finally, the feasibility, applicability and security of the using private UPF and network slice in the power load management system are verified by actual tests.
