Design of LoRa-based power consumption monitoring management system

With the rapid development of social economy as well as science and technology, people rely more and more on electricity. However, people’s unregulated electricity consumption will not only cause malfunction in the power network, but also lead to electrical fire accidents in serious cases. In order to prevent and maximize the controllability of the above situation, this paper proposes a LoRa-based power energy consumption monitoring management system to monitor data changes and abnormalities in voltage, current, power, etc. in real time and report warnings in time. The system consists of three parts: power data collection nodes, LoRa gateway and cloud platform. The underlying power data is collected by the nodes and uploaded to the cloud platform via LoRa gateway. The cloud platform can store, quickly organize and analyze the real-time collected electric energy information, display the image data to users in real time with Web technology, and provide data query and fault alarm functions.
