Design and Analysis of the Cooling System of FSEC Racing Driving Motor

In this work, The structure of a cooling system for FSEC racing motor is designed, and its 3D geometric model is established and assembled on a real car. Through the simulation method, the temperature field cloud diagram of the radiator is obtained, and the influence of key parameters such as the inlet and outlet location of the heat exchanger, inlet flow rate and the number of cooling pipes on the temperature change of the cooling system is analyzed. The heat dissipation simulation analysis of the heat exchanger was carried out under conditions close to the competition field, and the outlet temperature was maintained at 76℃. The cooling system of the driving motor was tested on the bench and the durability test of the loading. The data verified the reliability and stability of the cooling system of the driving motor. The drive motor cooling system is designed to allow the motor and motor controller to operate continuously at suitable temperatures (25 ° C to 120 ° C). The simulation analysis method and test results have certain practical significance for the design of FSEC racing motor cooling system.
