Marine Predators Algorithm Based Optimal Multicore Cable Topology

Cable is widely used in the secondary circuit and transmission circuit of power plants and substations. However, when the length of the cable is extremely long, the stray capacitance between the core wire and the shielding and between the core wire and the core wire cannot be ignored. Large stray capacitance will have a great impact on the control circuit and threaten the safe and stable operation of the system. In order to reduce the stray capacitance between the cable core wires, an optimal configuration of the cable core wire position based on marine predators algorithm (MPA) is proposed. By reasonably optimizing the position of each core wire in the cable, the stray capacitance between the core wires is minimized. , a single cable core radius of 1.5 mm, the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method are verified by optimizing the configuration of the three-core and five-core cable models, and the cables with more cores can be optimized to achieve the minimum stray capacitance.
