Concept of in Situ Metrological Service of Analog-to-Digital Converters for Devices Compatible with the Internet of Things

The methods for determining error due to nonlinearity of analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) during operation by averaging voltage drops across resistors of the same nominal resistance are summarized. The components of errors of determining the nonlinearity of the ADC are estimated. The properties of the methods were compared, and the best ones were selected for different operating conditions.
