Automation of the System of Efficient Packaging of Cargoes by Containers Using Heuristic Algorithms

The article discusses the concept of an web aggregator for automated calculation of the cost of cargo delivery. Within the framework of optimizing the operation of the aggregator, the problem of efficient packaging of cargoes by consignments is relevant, which is reduced to the problem of discrete optimization. The automatic cargo packaging system is a software module that approximates the minimum number of containers needed to pack all cargo. The module is based on heuristic algorithms capable of calculating solutions close to optimal in a short period of time. The article conducted a comparative analysis of heuristic algorithms for solving the problem of packaging, taking into account the weight and volume of cargoes.
