Development of a Control System for Patients with Ventricular Arrhythmias

Patients with hereditary or acquired pathologies of the conduction of the ventricles of the heart, due to the extreme danger of such pathologies, need prolonged cardiac monitoring in conditions of daily life and various physical exertion, as well as immediate resuscitation with rapid deterioration of the heart condition. Such patients usually require implantation of a cardioverter defibrillator to prevent sudden cardiac death and other fatal heart conditions, but implantable devices significantly reduce the quality of life for various reasons.A telemetric system for managing patients with ventricular arrhythmias is proposed, including a cardiac monitoring subsystem, a defibrillation subsystem and a decision-making subsystem based on a distributed neural network.
