Methodology of Bayesian Intellectual Measurements for Information Systems and its Application to the Study of the Value System of Russian Youth

The results of the application of Bayesian intellectual measurements to assess the value system of Russian youth using the Infoanalyst software platform are presented. The research methodology is based on the use of linguistic measurements of factors grouped by means of Bayesian convolution into a set of integral factors characterizing generalized properties of youth. This made it possible to form a hierarchical information model of the value system of youth. The results of a survey on 24 issues of 1806 young people from 10 subjects of the Russian Federation were used as the information base of the study. The application of the methodology made it possible to form a holistic picture of values, as well as to identify both heterogeneity and commonality of respondents’ opinions, including to identify the bimodality of properties characterizing the stratification of society into two classes that will shape its development in the future.
