RBFNN Based MPPT Controller For Grid Tied PV Based BLDC Pump System

The production of electric power utilizing Photovoltaic (PV) systems has emerged as a relevant replacement for conventional power generating systems due to its simplicity of maintenance, renewability, low noise level, and accessibility. Using DC-DC converters with high gain and efficiency, the output generated by the PV panel is controlled. In this paper, Landsman converter is employed for improving the output voltage from PV systemand providesan adequate control for BLDC motor with safe and soft start. RBFNN based MPPT methodology has been found to perform better than other techniques for randomly shifting atmospheric circumstanceswhich extracts most power out of a PV module. The gating pulses for Landsman converter is provided from the PWM generator. The converter output is supplied to BLDC motor through3ϕ VSI for speed regulation. Grid-motor synchronization and motor speed regulation is improved by using Proportional Integral(PI) controller. LC filter is utilized in eliminating harmonics and grid synchronization is achieved using 1ϕ VSI. The anticipatedeffort is executed in MATLAB software and the respective outputs are obtained.
