The Efficiently Applications of Network Re-Infrastructure for ARL Transportation Systems in Thailand

This paper presents the efficient performance of the network re-infrastructure for the Airport Rail Link to support the High-Speed Railway project in the Eastern Economic Corridor. The standard network uses SONET/SDH services and it replaced providing a next generation packet based solution, powered by MPLS-TP for railway communication. ARL modifies the main backbone network systems to increase the efficiency of applications of a railway transportation system. As the results show, the network re-infrastructure can improve the link performance due to lower end-to-end transmission delay and higher bandwidth for applications.
