Safety Detection by Using Smart and Multitasking Headgear

Today, most countries mandate that its residents wear a helmet when riding bicycles and abstain from doing so while intoxicated, although laws are still broken. “Safety Detection by using Smart and multitasking headgear” were developed to address this issue. Riders wear helmets as protective headgear to make driving safer and reduce injuries. In this study, a smart helmet is developed to check if someone is protected by a headgear; otherwise, the bike won't start. This smart headgear can even detect motorcycle riders falling and send a message via a GSM module, as well as the location of the fall using GPS, to prevent delays in rescue operations. A notification will be sent to the appropriate contacts and rescue units as soon as an accident is discovered.
