Shuttle Service using Web Application

In this modern era, all the details are in the fingertips for the people with a smartphone. The people want to know the location of the vehicle and the time taken by it to reach their stop along with the availability of the seats in the vehicle, so they can plan their travel. The Internet of things (IoT) is widely used in the society to provide safety and security. As there is increase in population the number of public transports available are not enough and encourages them to travel in an uncomfortable way as they do not know the timing of the next bus arrival or the passengers in the next bus which forces them to travel in the bus whether it is crowded so they could reach their destination on time. With the collaboration of IoT, Hardware and web development a prototype is developed to solve some of the problems in the smart shuttle system. It is aimed to help the people in tracking the location of the bus in such that they may reach their location on time and making payment online allows them to travel cashless.
