Recent Test Results on the Terahertz Gyrotron under Development in the WHMFC

In this paper, we report the recent experimental results of a terahertz gyrotron prototype under development at the Wuhan National High Magnetic Field Center (WHMFC). This gyrotron is equipped with a 15 T superconducting magnet, and it has achieved stable fundamental operation at 368.242 GHz. By varying the magnetic field, a frequency tuning range of 2.9GHz can be achieved.
