Efficiency of Information Transfer in the System of Interacting IoT Objects with Optimal Spatial Structure

In this paper a MIMO communication system consisting of wireless IoT sensors and a base station is considered. The amount of information received by the base station is high because of the large number of IoT sensors. Moreover the sensors are interference for each other. The required channel capacity of the MIMO communication system usually is achieved by increasing the number of receiving antenna that leads to the appearance of mutual coupling in the antenna array. In this paper it is proposed to optimize the spatial structure of the receiving antenna array with mutual coupling to increase the efficiency of interference cancellation and increase channel capacity. A genetic algorithm is used to solve the optimization problem. The efficiency of the spatial structure's optimization as one of the stages of signal processing is shown. The recommendations on the circular antenna array's elements arrangement given.
