An Analytical Solution of Fractional Diffusion Equations using the operational matrix method

In this study, we approximate the solution of a class of fractional diffusion equations using the operational matrix method. Numerous physics and engineering applications for this kind of problems attract researchers to them. In order to reduce this problem into a system of second-order equations in space, operational matrices are used. The approximate solution is then found using the collocation method. To demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method, two examples are provided. Then, some conclusions are given.
