Rectangular Patch Antenna Using Microstrip Feed Line for UHF Band Applications- Concepts and Design

In this study, we investigate the modeling and design of a rectangular patch antenna, which features a microstrip feed line and is specifically intended for UHF band applications. Our work provides a detailed exploration of the design process, which involved careful analysis and optimization of various antenna parameters to achieve the desired performance characteristics. One of the key findings of our study is the excellent agreement between the results obtained from the designed antenna structures and those obtained from both simulation and experimental testing. This provides a high degree of confidence in the accuracy and reliability of our design, which can be expected to perform well in real-world applications. The resonant frequency of the antenna is a crucial parameter, and our simulation and design results indicate that it is $f_{r}=2.25\ \text{GHz}$ and $f_{r}=2.26\ \mathbf{GHz}$, respectively. These values are consistent with our expectations, and the minor discrepancy is within the acceptable margin of error. To achieve these results, we used CST software.
