Arduino (NodeMCU) Based DC Motor Controlling for Irrigation to Remote Areas Using IoT

Abstract: It has been suggested to use IoT to create an automated and erudite irrigation system for remote locations. Many soil characteristics were measured, and the results and values are shown in the Blynk App. These parameters include soil moisture, pH sensor, and DHT11 sensor. The motor to irrigate the farmlands is started automatically as soon as the Node MCU and Blynk App detect low moisture. Thus, this study presents an economically viable irrigation option for sustainable farming. This study is an effort to supplement conventional irrigation management techniques. An acceptable low-cost method to recurrently monitor the moisture level in the soil via a mobile application has been designed using the Internet of Things (IoT) concept.
