Industrial Research and Development of Innovative Technologies for the Energy Sector

The project entitled "Industrial research and development of innovative technologies for the energy sector" is aimed to research and document technical parameters of non-traditional or renewable energy sources. Possibilities of their combination with traditional energy sources used today is interesting form the point of view of their future industrial application. Emphasis is placed on the combined production of electricity and heat using thermoelectric generators. To obtain and evaluate data, different laboratory experiments were carried out, their scalability is partially investigated with the focus on waste heat utilization in near future. Mentioned technology is further compared with photovoltaic systems form technical and economical point of view, as well.
