Disturbance Mitigation in Ship Power System with DC Distribution System

In recent years, mainly due to the rapid development of power electronics, powerful electric drives have widely entered marine electrical networks. Underlying this are the well- known advantages of electric drives such as: better dynamic performance of electric drive motors; high efficiency by switching the number of working generators; reduction of vibrations and generated noise; more rational distribution of generating units, etc. Along with the advantages of the system, there are also problems with ensuring the quality of the generated electricity. The paper proposes a model of a marine distribution network with a DC distribution network and a system disturbance suppression system.
